About Us

The Cheer Guild is a volunteer auxiliary that serves Riley Hospital for Children and Indiana University Hospital by providing comfort and cheer to the patients and families at both hospitals. In addition, The Cheer Guild is classified as a not-for-profit, section 501 (c)(3).

One of The Cheer Guild's largest projects is the Toy Room located at Riley Hospital. Within this room, volunteers collect brand new donated toys and handmade items. They ensure that the items are safe to be given as gifts to pediatric patients and get them ready for distribution. We distribute over 14,000 items from the Toy Room each month!

Marketing & Communications: To be a resource to Indiana communities who want to show their support to Riley and IU Hospitals through a speaker’s bureau, while branding our organization.

Hospitals We Serve: To establish The Cheer Guild as a lasting legacy to the hospitals’ past, while being recognized by families and the hospitals we serve as an integral part of their customer service and family centered care.
