Corporate Giving

Corporate Chapter Membership is open to any corporation or business that supports the Cheer Guild through annual dues, donations and some volunteer work. These volunteers may, or may not, be able to actively come into the hospital to volunteer their time.

One way for corporations to show additional support is to sponsor a Cheer Guild project. One of the largest, and most important, projects that the Cheer Guild funds is the Toy Room at Riley Hospital. The Toy Room manages the intake and distribution of donated toys and handmade items. Over 14,000 items are distributed from this room each month. Although we have numerous donations, it requires a budget of $125,000 to manage this room each year. Many businesses offer corporate matching programs, where an employer will match the donation amount of their employees to a 501©(3). The Cheer Guild encourages all donors to inquire about this opportunity prior to making a donation to The Cheer Guild to ensure proper company policies for this kind of matching donation.
